Let’s Get to It is the second single from Classic Face, and it is chock-full of new wave catchiness. How much energy and hookiness can one band fit into a single? A lot, it seems.
The tune is chaotic and danceable, bursting with positive energy and urging us to get moving. Beneath all the chaos, there’s a little more going on, with vocalist Michael Strong singing about being a parent, including lines like “let’s raise this girl together”.
If you like a bit of chaos mixed into pop music and bands like Devo, Classic Face are well worth a go.
